Our Pre - K Class
The Pre-K Class is designed for children aged 4-5, preparing them for the transition to kindergarten with a focus on both academic readiness and social development. In this class, children engage in a balanced mix of structured activities and creative play, helping them build the skills needed for success in school and beyond.
The curriculum is tailored to develop fine motor skills, early literacy, and numeracy, while also promoting social-emotional growth. Through hands-on activities like crafting, writing, and problem-solving games, children refine their fine motor abilities, laying a strong foundation for writing, cutting, and other tasks they’ll encounter in kindergarten. Circle time features more advanced learning experiences, including letter and number recognition, all presented in an interactive and engaging way.
Social development is a key focus, with activities designed to foster cooperation, communication, and conflict resolution. Children will learn how to work as part of a group, follow directions, and express themselves clearly. With parents involved in the classroom, this class also emphasizes the importance of positive role models and community-building, ensuring that children feel supported and confident as they prepare for the next step in their educational journey. The Pre-K Class provides a wonderful, engaging environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, ensuring they are ready for kindergarten and beyond.
